A fun experiment

Today in room 12 we did an experiment with a volcano 

fizzing & foaming . FIzzing & foaming is an chemical change which is not reversible  but physical change is reversible but were not talking about physical change were talking about chemical change . For this experiment you will need water,vinegar ,  dishwashing liquid,food coloring and  baking soda you will also need a fake volcano . Before you get to the foaming you have to put in all the ingredients.

First you will have to put in the  water .

Second you put in vinegar.

after that you will put  the dishwashing liquid in  .

Then food coloring .

and lastly put in the baking soda .

And walla you have you a fizzing and foaming volcano

it was an amazing experience to make a volcano and one day hopefully we can make a bigger volcano .

  

Tonga vs England

On saturday there  was the epic league game for MMT and England they were battling each other in the game it was so exciting until there was a small twist with the ref . 

So this twist occurred  in the last half  of the game where the ref said knock on but it wasn't he said that MMT knocked on the ball but he didn't England pulled the players arm, and the ball drop on the ground MMT was lucky enough to get the trie until England piled over the MMT players and the ref thinks he knows everything . But he doesn't know everything he's blind , and they didn't do a replay and also the ref was from England so that isn't fear in every game they see if it's a knock on or not and the replay shows all the  proof of what happened . I am mad at the England ref that said knock on that isn't fear let me know if you thought it was aknock on or not

We finally went to Rangitoto yah

    

Today we went to Rangitoto to climb all the way the volcano the walk up the 1 hour so it took very long I drank my water half way up and then I had no more  water until I got to the top of the volcano . When we we're walking up the volcano we came across lava rocks and the lady that sponsored us said that we could take a rock to show our parents , so I did they we're 500 years old it was so cool . On the way up on the volcano I never stop because I wanted to get to the top of the volcano before my friends got up there, My friends short of chatted up with me like Chelsie,Sale and Meliana they were pretty tired like me but I didn't stop . After that we ask people that made to the top of the volcano if we were close some people said yes you are a few min away and the other people didn't know wither they we were close enough . We finally made it to the top of the volcano and it was with it because you get a good view to look at all the other volcanos in the sea . When we made it to the top my teacher Mr Naidoo was still at the bottom because he was the last teacher to leave for the big hike that we had , then we when  we saw out teacher  we were all rested a ready to go down the volcano and go into the lava caves that were pitch black . Then when we all got through the rocks and the roots and all that kind of stuff we made it to the lava caves . When we got there we saw a lava cave that was short but the middle one you had to duck your head you trip over roots it was really black so everybody had to take teachers phones for the torches my phone my  friends phones and yeh .
When you go to Rangitoto it's worth it because once you get to the top you get a great view and you get to experience the lava caves , you can have a great time . Even through it is an hour walk up and down you will a a fantstic time there . The sponsors were kidscan/ coffee club/and fullers for the fairy ride . When you also walk up and your tired great 360 view you can see the other volcanos the sea you can take pictures . Rangitoto is also pest free so it is only a brid island . 

Sumdog

What is sumdog who is sumdog what dose sumdog do ?

 well i'm here to tell you about sumdog and what it does to your brain . Now sumdog is a maths ,reading and writing game that Glen Innes school plays to improve on all these things that I just  mentioned . Sumdog isn't a who it's a what , sumdog has a challenge for all the classrooms in Glen Innes school from 6 - 12 , all we have to do is figure out  questions and see what class room stays on the top of the leader board . Now I don't know if you have sumdog in your school but if you do can you please comment down and I will shout you out on anything .

Congratulations to the Tongan rugby team

On Saturday 10000’s of people went to Hamilton  especially Samoans and the Tongans to watch the game. When the game was over the crowd congratulated  MMT  For there big win against Samoa, because MMT got 32 and Samoa got 18 .I’m glad that they won against Samoa but some people are disappointed in Samoa because they wanted them to win . We were lucky enough to be in the second row to watch the  two islands compete against each other  .I’m sorry that Samoa you  lost but  I hope you don’t give up Samoa you tried your best and that’s all don’t give up .

And I hope MMT will win against the Kiwis next weekend .
