Mean,Mode,Median and Range

This is the imformation I've gathered this past week about mean,mode,median and range -

Mean -

You have to add all of the numbers together and then divide it by how many numbers are there. 

Median - 

Rearrange  the numbers from smallest to biggest then you see if both sides are even. If there are two numbers in the middle, I have to add them and then divide them by two. 

Mode - 

You look at the most repeated number 

Range- 

You takeaway the smallest number from the biggest number

Multiplication

                     

Today I was playing a multiplication maths game because I needed to practice them.
 Multiplication is something i’m still a little rusty on so i decided to play a game to test my brain
and it worked !. This multiplication game I was playing I didn’t find it difficult at all it it was just mind
challenging, but in the end I would still need to practice my times tables off by heart so that whenever
I have to use them I won’t need help from anyone.

Maintenance

  

Today I was doing  maintenance for maths and  as you can see I didn’t get
them all right but I also didn't do so bad. If I want to achieve all  of them I will have to learn
my times tables off by heart tobe able to get a better score.

Prototec T4W3

Today I have improved in my prototec test stage 7 with 55%. I am satisfied  with my score,

this is week 3 I will put my all into getting onto the next stage which is stage 8.

My goals have not yet been reached as due to me not putting all my effort into a maths test,

in the future I would like to be on stage 8 because I want to be able to get better test scores

when it comes to that.

Basic Facts T4W2

I have improved from last week from my last basic facts test to 55%

I need to improve more in my maths test for next week when we do another one.

I will improve in everything  and try my best to go to stage 8.

Prototec T4W1

Today I did my first basic facts assessment for term 4. I am not
amazed with my score but it does show a fair score and it shows that I have to
work harder on my percentages, fractions and the factors.
I will practice harder and push myself to the goal I had set for myself earlier
in the year, I expect myself to be on stage 8 at the end of the year
I wish to get my hopes up and claim a better score on stage 7 in the future
maths test I do.

Basic facts T3W10

Today I have improved in my maths on stage 7 because
I was practicing hard and learning my times table, division and more in my
own time. I am at my curriculum level as a year 6, I hope to improve more
to get more than 90% on stage 7 to get onto stage 8.

I'm feeling so free!

I have improved in my maths e - asttle, in term 2 I got 3B and in term 3 I got 3A.

Celebration

Today on my basic facts I have improved on stage 7. I'm happy with my results because i've moved up a stage, I am going to practice more of my basic facts so that I can get a higher score.

Maths T3W6 Fraction

I was playing a game of matching fractions with decimals and percentages.  I had to match 125/100 and a picture that showed 125/100 This game was easy for me  because over the past three days I have been practicing my fractions, decimals and percentages. Next , I would like to learn equivalent fractions.

In week three I got 22% at stage 6 In week 10  my results were 72% at stage 6

I am happy with my results because I have improved .

I have made an effort to learn my 1000’s faster and  I have to achieve
within curriculum level 3 in year 6. I am still on stage 6 because
I have raley made an effort to learn my basic facts so I need to practice
everyday when I have my own time so I can move up a stage.

Basic Facts W6 T2

This week  I have remained the same because of the 1000’s,I need to learn how to do the 1000’s  faster because it’s on timed.To be faster I will practice every night and even in my spare time, I will get my brother, mum, dad, sister to help me for 25 minutes a day.Next week I would like to get 90% by the end of the term I would hope to be at 99% or even 100% so I can move onto stage 7.

I have made a big improvement this week from
56% to 60 on stage 6.

Reflections maths T2 W3

Division

                

This week I learnt to solve division problems. On Monday I found this  difficult and challenging. We did this the whole week. By Thursday I had a good understanding. I  was able to teach my friend, Sarone how to do it. Next, I would like to learn it more challenging division problems to succeed in life.

I want to do well at maths and would like to get a 4b.
