The lego story

Lego is a small plastic brick toy that allows  kids of any age to be imaginative and creative.

Ole Kirk Christiansen lived in Billund, Denmark. Ole Kirk Christiansen  invented lego in 1946, he made small plastic bricks that you could build with.

Ole Kirk Christiansen was inspired by a moulding machine that gave him multiple ideas  about a small lego brick. Ole Kirk Christiansen started making little plastic teddy bears but he thought there was something special about the brick , he had received at the fare. Then he changed things up and started to  making small bricks.

Ole had  great success in the company  but later Ole died in 1958 and didn’t get to see the lego company grow larger. When Ole passed, that left Godfred to continue with the lego company alone. Godfred had continued to build the industry of lego larger  and as lego grew it got famous by the second.

As you see lego has grown from a wooden toy  company to a famous plastic toy company around the world.
