the population of suicides

Today I want to talk about the population of the amount of suicides that happening around the world and most of them are in New Zealand and America but New Zealand are at the top of the most suicides counting the ones that have just happened a few weeks ago. Suicides are the one thing that Mike King is focused on because he wants to get to the target zero of no suicides , hes not getting paid nothing he is just going around to colleges and telling them that " if you know they need help ask them before its to late . Mike king says you can tell there is something wrong by looking into there eyes , and them ask them whats going on so they don't attempt to commit suicide . By the way how are you going to help them with depression . So I hope you listen to my advice and look into people eyes if they act wired and make sure that you don't do it . Don't commit suicides because of my story stop your self from doing it .

If you need help just ask for it don't look in the mirror and think that your ugly because you're not you are perfect the way you are . 

Justice league saves the city from destruction .

In New York city there lived five superheros that saved the day if there was trouble but when they are not superheroes they have normal lives like other people. When they are doing normal things in there live they have to try and hide their true identity so that is why they don't let any one follow  them to the secret base . When they were at work one day they heard a big BOOM  when they looked outside they saw a big building go down into pieces with people we're still in the building , so then they went to go dress up and save the city from destruction . once they got all of there things they went to see who the villains we're , when they saw the villains they weren't surprised  them straight away it was red skull who wants to destroy everything in his path basically .  he told superwoman , batman,cyborg,the flash, and superman that he was going to make ultimate discretion to the city , what they replied was no your not you are going to be crushed . They we're all looking at each other in the eye and said lets defeat this villain so they all walked off in different directions in the city what red skull said was oh well i'm just going to destroy the city but then he saw all of them stop and jump on different buildings , after that they all ran to his machine and destroy it with everything they had but the machine was to strong they couldn't defeat it . So then red skull jumped out of it and gave them a chance to defeat him , batman said " ha five on one " not quiet i have a big machine remember that can turn into two big machines . So well his machines we're changing the one on the flour was a hologram and a the same time he had   already won he had done a whole destroyed the hole city by triking them . Next they went to go find red skull but they have to have a plan so they made one and it was perfect . Then Batman saw the real red skull and walked up to him then red skull gave him a chance to punch him in the face so he did but he knocked him  out cold and took him to a dark place  and just left him there so they can save New York city and they did with some help from each other . Then they got Red skull and kicked him back to China.

On Tuesday we got our Duffy books that we can take home to read . My books are cool and they are exciting to read because they have mystery and there are some bits that get me scared but they are all right to read . When I have some time on my hands I read and never want to get disturbed unless it's something important that I have to do . When I read books you imagine things in your head that if you'er a kid but I think some parents do think sometimes I think , but the reason books are made is so that you can learn new things that you didn't know before you can learn new words and all that  kind of stuff that's how Daniel learnt all of those  languages and if you learn new things in books you are smart .

 

Telling time

At homework club today we all learnt how to tell time in hours and minutes . When we were learning time we had a little help because we wouldn't be able to put the right time on the clock.Then after that we got challenging questions about time . Our first hard question was quarter to three , I think i'm confident to tell time in minutes and hours .I hope people will keep on helping us tell the right time . We also learnt how to tell time on a analog clock but at my house we use digital clocks.

One day in a small town there lived a small little boy named Jeff with his sister Emily and their older brother Jack. All of them liked planting strawberries because they were so fresh.

One day Jack said to Jeff and Emily “why don't we plant some strawberries for a cake”, Jeff and Emily were so excited they couldn’t wait  to plant strawberries after school . When Emily and Jeff got back home they went to the garden there older brother was waiting for them, but some of the seeds were already planted .Then when all of the seeds were planted Emily , Jeff and there brother Jack went back inside . Then the next day there was very heavy rain , as Jeff and Emily were watching them grow.  After a few hours The sun started shining and the strawberries were growing even more . When they were fully grow after a month, one was enormous but the rest were there original size. Then Jack said why don’t we go and grab the giant on and make the biggest cake . So Jack went around with Jeff and Emily to say to everyone else “can you come help us pull this giant strawberry out of the ground” then the whole town went to their house and they succeed to get the strawberry out with sweat and struggle . Finally they made the biggest cake in the town a shared it with everyone.

Jack , Jeff and Emily were finally happy that they had got the strawberry out of the ground . Then they could finally make the biggest cake in the town .    

The Warriors

The Warriors come to our school !

Today the Warriors three warriors came  to our school there names were zac from Australian , Junior from Samo and I forgot the last warriors name but there was three ,they came to talk about being healthy and not just rugby . being healthy and they also talked about how to keep healthy .When they came they had a wheel up on the board and they had four things up on the board tivin , sleep , hydrating  and belongs because they said you need all of these things because it is important for you all the time . The first thing they talked about was sleep because it will be important for you . If you are a kid you will need 11 hours of sleep and adults they only need 8 hours of sleep because they get up earlier and they do things before you wake up .The next thing they talked about was hydrating because if you  do not drink about two to three bottles because you  will get a headache well your doing things. The next thing they did was the trivin , the trivin was 5 questions they asked us we're  about the warriors . When the people  answered the questions got a prize , the prizes were a water bottle, bag, ball and a resist band . The last thing they talked to us about was belongs , belongs they said you have to belong to something or someone . Zac and junior have the same things in common they belong to the same groups and the other guy . Tell me what you take part in all of it or some of it let me know in the comments .

Matilda the show is a famous movie that is on netflix , this movie is about a little kid that doesn't know she has magic  until she figures out somehow  . Matilda is a kid that pranks everybody especially her parents she pranked her dad when he was working on their car because the motor was not working ,so what she did was swap paint with glue , so when he went for the paint because he wanted to paint the car he grab the brush when he was finished he couldn't take the paint brush off then Matilda walked away laughing.

This week is Tonga language week,what Tongas do on this week is they celebrate there language in there own way because it is the only week they can celebrate there language . Like any other cultures they get a week to so they get some time to celebrate there language .I would also like to point out that it you have a culture and you bulling someone else's culture then that gives them the right to bully your culture witch you don't want , So i'm saying that don't just judge someone by it's cover get to know that person before you even say anything to offend them .

Homework program

In the  homework club we have separate times for reading,maths and writing .For maths today we learnt how to tell time because it is difficult for some people .What we are doing now is reading we are doing facts about giraffes , by the way tell me how many facts you know about giraffes I know 22 facts .For writing we are doing this blog that i'm doing right now so we don't have to do it tomorrow. I am so pleased that these people have come from such a long way to help us progress our reading , writing and maths and I hope they will keep on helping us .

 

simple toy machines

On Friday we had to make a simple toy that would work so that we can showcase it to the hole school .I made a ramp because it would be easier for the scooter that I made so it can  get access to higher levels . What I used to make my scooter out of was plastic,bottle caps rubber and little poles  this is what I made out of my scooter .What I made out of my ramp was wood ,and paint my ramp was the colour red because that is my favorite colour.I liked everybody's simple machines because they had cool designs and I hope we have another one aging .

We had a technology expo on  Friday to showcase the toys we made with simple machines It was very exciting to see what other classes made   . My most interesting simple machine was the catapults

Because you could put a little rock and let it go it would flow through the air for about like two minutes . The person who made the catapult that I liked was Mafi’s one this picture is Mafi’s she made a catapult with cardboard,plastic and string  by the wasMafi is from room 6. When I saw her it was awesome someone asked what does it do Mafi gave an example with a little bead and she put is on the flower that launches it in th sky and then they went to go chase the bead . I like this toy because it can help you throw things far instead of throwing  things with you arm because if you through it with your arm it wouldn’t go far
